In Hickory Hills, IL heat, warm air, iced lines, or a tripping breaker isn't something to sit on. We check charge, compressor amp draw, and coil condition before recommending a fix before any part gets quoted.
Topping off refrigerant without ever finding the leak is one of the most common ways Hickory Hills homeowners get overcharged. Our process is pressure readings, spec comparison, and electronic leak detection, because a properly repaired leak outlasts three top-offs.
Non-negotiables on every cooling call.
Every tech handling refrigerant carries current federal certification — a legal requirement we take seriously.
No-cool situations jump the schedule, most Hickory Hills requests seen same-day in peak season, even during the busiest stretch of summer.

Real detection equipment finds the source, not just a temporary patch.
The repairs behind most no-cool calls.
We locate, repair, and recharge to spec — not just refilled and sent on its way.
A compressor that hums without starting or pulls high amps gets tested at the windings and start capacitor before we recommend replacement.
Ice on the evaporator coil points to restricted airflow or low charge, and we trace the root cause instead of just thawing it, not just defrost it and hope.
A failing capacitor is a common cause of a dead condenser, and it's usually a same-visit fix once confirmed.
Debris on the coil drives up pressure and shortens compressor life, so we clean and inspect during the visit.
Electrical faults can mimic total compressor failure, so we rule these out first to avoid an unnecessary replacement.
